Meet
the
artist TAMARA GOEHRINGER
Paintings, digital art, performances and curation are components of Tamara Goehringer multifaceted œuvre. Grown up in Germany and Mexico, Tamara finalised 2019 the Diploma at the Fine Arts Academy in Karlsruhe, Germany. Her limited edition on ART TWIST of five pieces "Touch.My.Skin.01.", critically addresses the tension between lust, intoxication and violence. Being inspired by Japanese manga it was created from the negatives of a series of works from 2019.
Besides being an artist and performer, Tamara is also operating as a curator. Her upcoming exhibition “16,5 x 10 x X” in the off space “Wie Oft Noch” in Karlsruhe is on view from 12.05.-30.05. The exhibition shows the final result of a conceptual postcard exchange between artists - each participant received a blank postcard to use as a canvas. The concept of this work emerged in times of social distancing, when physical contact is no longer a viable option. If you cannot wait till May, you can also see a sculpture by Tamara at the “Skulpturen Park Karlsruhe” from 24th of April on!

Meet
the
artist SEVERINE MEIER
Since 2013 Severine is studying Fine Arts at the Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) in Offenbach/Main – with a stopover in Gent at the Academy of Fine Arts. For her Art Edition on ART TWIST we chose an aquarelle, printed in its original size (Lee Miller 2020). As you can see on the picture taken in her atelier in Offenbach, Severine also paints from small to big canvas: displaying herself, portraits and friends at everyday scenes.
Even though the year 2020 was a caesura in the culture sector, Severine had the opportunity to show her art at several group exhibitions: Opelvillen Rüsselsheim, Zollamt Galerie Offenbach, Flowershop Offenbach and solo-exhibitions at the Ola Bunker (Frankfurt) and Tiefsee Offenbach. This year a painting by Severine is together with many other artists from the Frankfurt region displayed at Magma Maria and can be enjoyed through the window until the March 7th at the Hafenplatz 1-3 in Offenbach.

Meet
the
artist MARCO STANCATO
She art of Marco Stancato (*1990) is in an interplay of abstraction and figurative painting: His study at the Hochschule für Gestaltung, Offenbach, in Fine Arts acts complementary to his previous professional field in Communication Design. Besides his characteristic painting style using also mixed techniques, the large-scale canvases are a recognizable feature. With an average width and height of 2 meters, Stancato's screen print made for ART TWIST is - literally – a very small speciality.
As a great advocate of various techniques from acrylic, oil to airbrush Stancato creates different structures and individual small art pieces – like in his latest work „Weniger zu Genüge“ (2021). The art piece can be seen at the Frankfurter Kunstverein, invited by the collective @magma_maria . Among many other emerging artists, the exhibited artworks of different kinds of mediums, are a visit worth and can be bought via Magma Maria!
